Kumasi Style and Fashion Award 2018 will be the second edition of the Fashion and Style Award event organised by Kirei Models Agency.
The Awards slated for Saturday 25th. in August 2018, seek to strengthen the growing fashion industry by establishing, developing and promoting international industry standards here in Ghana. The event is an opportunity for the fashion industry to celebrate and promote the extraordinary creative talents in Ghana and across the African continent.
The 2018 Kumasi Style and Fashion Awards has 17 categories which are:
Fashion Designer of the Year
Emerging Designer of the Year
Female Model of the year
Male Model of the Year
Stylish Female Personality of the Year
Stylish Male Personality of the Year
Fashion Photographer of the Year
Stylish Radio Personality of the Year
Stylish Sports Personality of the Year
Makeup Artist of the Year
Hair Stylist of the Year
Stylish Movie Star of the Year
Stylish Music Star of the Year
Accessory Designer of the Year
Best tailor of the Year
Best seamstress of the Year
Best hairdresser of the Year
To select the winners, the organisers will set up a committee of experts (herein called KSFA Awards Committee) in the fashion industry to vote for the front runners of this year’s accolades. Another panel will be set up composed of industry players, fashion bloggers, stylists, influencers and fashion icons (herein called KSFA Voting Academy). Just like the previous edition, the general public will also have the chance to have their voices heard by voting for their favourites via social media.
The voting percentage breakdown is as follows:
KSFA Awards Committee: 50%
KSFA Voting Academy: 30%
Social Media: 20%
