Nuna Couture Presents Vintage Sackar Collection At Style Lounge 2017 Fashion Presentation

Nuna Couture…..What comes to mind when you hear clean cut? Despite the name, having a clean cut look has just as much to do with your overall style as it does your hair. To embody a clean-cut look, you have to focus not just on your hygiene and your grooming, but also on the clothes you wear. Achieving this look is a matter of keeping things simple, tasteful and focused on basic function while avoiding the grandiose or ornamental. For a clean-cut style of dress, simplify your outfits, piece by piece. Keep the look minimal — avoid excess accessories and intricate styling. By keeping your style neat, clean, simple and elegant, you achieve a timelessly fashionable look.

The style lounge 2017 fashion presentation this year saw a number of designers showcasing their works and one of these designers that stood out was Nathaniel Nunoo of Nuna couture. The brand is notable for its classic ready-to-wear women’s wear aesthetics. On the 12 June of this year at the Impact Hub Accra, Ghanaian fashion brand Nuna couture presented to us his ss17 “vintage Sackar” collection.

The collection employs the concept of minimal and regal to create finest Ready- to-wear pieces.

The collection was inspired by sketches of beautiful women in chick designs I found in my grandfather’s sketch pad who was a tailor in the United Kingdom (UK).”

Most of his garments got the audience swooning and cheering when the models took to the runway. I had a particular favorite which is a dress cape, mind you although it is simple; it is elegant and classy for both formal and informal events.

I say this collection is for women who want something with attitude, clean cut while still keeping things on the minimal.
