Bushai Weave’s latest collection – The Salam Collection SS21, offers a modern twist on traditional Muslim men’s fashion with vibrant, striking colours, matching pill box kufis, kurta shirts and jalabiyas that feature layered textures, neat finishes and bold neutral tones that contrast with the overall palette.
The Salam is a religious salutation among Muslims and Arabic speakers. The blessing translates as “Peace be upon you”. The collection is aptly named in dedication to the Muslim Community and hearkens to Shaibu’s Islamic and cultural roots.
