Fashion came to play in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria at the Nook International Fashion Weekend which took place from the 10th to 12th of February 2023 at the Nook Apartments.
It was three days of glitz, glam, creativity, and entertainment as top designers such as Quophi Akotuah a renowned Ghanaian designer, who graced the runway, alongside other international designers, such as Abbas Kaijuka of Uganda, Ibrahim Fernandez from Ivory Coast, and other prominent Nigerian designers, especially from the south-south region. The event was hosted by Dame Ochuko Momoh, a forerunner in the fashion industry in the region.
The Nook International Fashion Weekend was well attended by top dignitaries, fashion enthusiasts, style influencers, and all lovers of fashion including Nigeria’s foremost fashion stylist/business mogul Toyin Lawani, and media personality/runway assassin Denrele.
A big thank you to Dame Ochuko Momoh, convener of the Nook International Fashion Weekend for bringing this initiative to the city of Port Harcourt, Indeed the fashion, beauty, and style industry in Port Harcourt is a gold mine.
