According to WWD, Benedetta Petruzzo, CEO of Miu Miu, will be the new managing director at Christian Dior Couture. This strategic appointment has been confirmed by Delphine Arnault, the chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture.
Arnault expressed confidence in Petruzzo’s capabilities, stating,
“I am convinced that Benedetta’s talent and leadership will be significant assets in the ongoing growth of Dior’s operations and its global influence. Her deep understanding of the luxury market will continue to elevate the desirability and success of Dior. Together, alongside our exceptional teams, we will continue to shape the future and strengthen our organization.”
Petruzzo will be taking over from Dior’s current managing director, Charles Delapalme, who will assume “important new responsibilities within the LVMH Group” after a transition period. Details about Delapalme’s next role will be announced in the future.
