Nigerian fashion house Rekana has introduced its latest collection, “Children of God” (also, “COGOD”). The collection is inspired by compassion, community, and inclusion, according to the fashion house.
Children of God is Rekana’s first ethical collection that is inspired by inclusion in the church, friends around the world, and fellow creators, and transition into a more conscious sustainable brand using eco-friendly, hand-woven, hand-dyed fabrics with low impact materials for its tie-dye process.
The monotone collection features Rekana’s take on wardrobe staples in tie-and-dye. Children of God used various comfortable fabrics to create a collection of timeless functional designs and the basics. Like the classic long sleeve shirt for men and women, single-breasted blazer jacket, matching casual co-ords, easy-breezy kimonos- everything you need to comfortably move from one moment to the next.
Rekana is excited and can’t wait to see fashion minds like you and share with the world its new collection. The company also has a film for the collection. You can see it here.
