Jin from BTS is now the global brand ambassador for Gucci, announced by the luxury brand on Wednesday, pleasing BTS fans worldwide.
At 31 years old, Jin joins a prestigious lineup of other prominent Korean celebrities representing the brand. According to Gucci’s creative director, Sabato De Sarno, Jin’s unique style and magnetic personality make him an ideal fit for the brand.
Jin, who recently served as an Olympic torchbearer for South Korea at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is the oldest member of the popular K-pop group and was the first to complete his mandatory military service in June.

De Sarno stated.
With this new role, Jin joins other notable Korean figures who are global ambassadors for Gucci, including Hanni, Lee Jung Jae, Park Gyu Young, and Jay Park. Gucci aims to expand its presence in the South Korean market, with plans to launch its latest initiative, ‘Gucci Cultural Month,’ in Seoul on October 15, celebrating the country’s rich culture.
Having completed his military enlistment in June 2024, Jin took on the prestigious role of Olympic torchbearer for South Korea during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The Olympic Torch Relay concluded on July 26, and Jin was honored with the title of ‘Best Olympic Torch’ moment following a two-week voting period, surpassing global celebrities like Charles Leclerc, Halle Berry, Rafael Nadal, and Abhinav Bindra.
