London’s Heathrow Terminal 2 luxury airline lounges will be upgraded.
On September 30, Louis Vuitton will unveil a new café in collaboration with renowned chef Cyril Lignac, alongside the opening of its newly designed store by Marc Fornes, the founder of the New York-based art and architecture studio Theverymany.
The new store features a striking futuristic design with a dome-shaped exterior in shades of blue and white. Inside, the décor incorporates hints of red, yellow, blue, and white, alluding to the theme of travel.
While Louis Vuitton operates over 20 hospitality concepts worldwide—including restaurants, cafés, chocolate shops, and airport lounges—this will be the brand’s first venture into the U.K. market. Some of its most notable locations include Le Café V in Ginza, a restaurant in Saint-Tropez, and an airport lounge at Doha International Airport.
The Terminal 2 store will offer a selection of Louis Vuitton’s women’s ready-to-wear collections, as well as men’s accessories and leather goods. It will seamlessly connect to Le Café by Cyril Lignac.
The café will provide both counter and table service, featuring a unique Louis Vuitton touch with glasses and leather table mats from the brand’s Art de la Table collection. Lignac has curated an all-day dining menu that includes healthy options alongside gourmet selections. Highlights include Royal Eggs, croissants, fruit bowls, avocado toast, and some of Lignac’s signature dishes like crab salad, croque monsieur, lobster roll, beetroot salad with goat cheese, and Caesar salad.
For dessert lovers or anyone looking for an Instagram-worthy treat, the café will also serve Louis Vuitton patisseries and a mango Eton Mess.
