Vogue Business has partnered with Dubai Design District (d3) to host a new edition of Fashion Futures.
A global consortium focused on the sustainable future of the fashion industry.
The event is scheduled to take place on February 6, 2025, at d3, a global creative ecosystem for design, fashion, architecture, and art. The Autumn/Winter 2025 edition of Dubai Fashion Week will also be hosted there from February 1–6.
Fashion Futures Dubai will explore strategies and insights for integrating sustainability into luxury business models. The event will consist of keynotes and panel discussions led by Vogue Business contributing editor Sujata Assomull. Discussions will cover consumer behavior in the region and sustainability ambitions requiring a collaborative approach.
The event will feature regional and international industry leaders, creators, and innovators. Speakers will explore the emerging fashion opportunities in the region and the importance of sustainable sourcing and supply chains. The event will begin with an interview with Indian designer Manish Malhotra, who will also debut at Dubai Fashion Week. Panel speakers include Fahed Ghanim (CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle), Faiza Bouguessa (Founder and Creative Director of Bouguessa), and Seneca Cottom (Head of Sustainability of Alshaya Group). Other speakers and panelists include Jasmina Banda, Kunal Kapoor, Nadine Kanso, and Mariam Yeya.
In addition to content and networking, Vogue Business and d3 will host an exhibition showcasing sustainability innovators in manufacturing, supply chain, materials, technology, and customer experience. The event will conclude with a reception to foster cross-industry and cross-border relationships. Fashion Futures Dubai is part of a global series that has taken place in London, Shanghai, New York, and Tokyo. Dubai Design District is one of TECOM Group’s 10 business districts.
