Wes Gordon’s Fall 2025 collection, inspired by the iconic film “Being There,”.

Wes Gordon, the Creative Director of Carolina Herrera unveiled his Fall 2025 collection at New York Fashion Week.

The show was a testament to Gordon’s vision of blending romance with power dressing, drawing inspiration from the iconic film “Being There,” which shares its release year with the founding of Herrera in 1979.

This cinematic influence was evident throughout the collection, featuring floral motifs and elegant designs in vivid jewel tones.

The runway presentation began against a breathtaking backdrop of New York City’s skyline through expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on the 48th floor. Models walked amidst an enchanting atmosphere enhanced by Gordon’s curated playlist, including Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.” The show featured intricate floral lace ensembles and nearly sheer embroidered gowns adorned with gold buttons and rose appliqués.

One of the standout pieces was a double-breasted white shirt ensemble, showcasing Gordon’s ability to merge classic styles with modern flair. Another notable look was a fuchsia minidress, embodying ultra-feminine charm while maintaining an edgy vibe through its bold color choice. Additionally, a cornflower-blue gown highlighted Gordon’s mastery over softer hues without sacrificing sophistication.

Gordon expressed particular fondness for the final piece: “a dramatic cape roset in black silk faille paired with a sleeveless black jewel macramé dress.” This look encapsulated his vision for powerful yet romantic fashion.

The collection spanned from tweed mini dresses exuding vintage charm to sharply cut blazers and trousers channeling modern masculinity. This duality reflected Gordon’s aim to evolve the Carolina Herrera woman into someone stronger and more confident than ever before.

Behind this stunning collection lies meticulous craftsmanship and teamwork involving an incredible design team and atelier that brought these pieces to life over months of planning. Despite being inspired by cinematic elements, Gordon finds joy not just in dressing celebrities but also in seeing everyday women embracing Herrera’s elegance on streets around the world.
