Tom Ford Beauty has announced that Angelina Jolie will be the face of its Runway Lip Color range.
The American actress and filmmaker will represent the Estée Lauder Companies-owned brand’s new hydrating lipstick collection, which features 18 shades.
In the campaign, Jolie showcases the shade 16 Scarlet Rouge, a deep red glossy hue, and the campaign is set to launch on September 3. Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the visuals depict Jolie studying for a film role—“a character that loves the camera almost as much as it loves her,” according to the brand.
Jolie became the ambassador because Tom Ford Beauty said she is “always iconic.” The brand describes her as “an inveterate trailblazer” who drives her narrative with strength, confidence, and a commitment to self-expression. With accolades including an Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Tony Award, Jolie has solidified her status as an international icon in film, theatre, and fashion. Moreover, her humanitarian efforts, particularly her focus on refugees and human rights over the past 20 years, enhance her influence beyond the arts.
The Runway Lip Color collection will launch in September. Tom Ford Beauty also has other high-profile ambassadors, including South Korean actors Gong Yoo and Hyun Bin.
Jolie is no stranger to beauty partnerships; she previously represented Guerlain’s Mon Guerlain fragrance and collaborated with MAC Cosmetics on a makeup range inspired by her role as Maleficent in the 2014 Disney film.
In related news, Tom Ford Beauty recently promoted company veteran Dexter King to Senior VP, Global GM, to enhance the brand’s global presence. He will focus on strategically expanding the luxury beauty brand’s reach across makeup, fragrance, and skincare.
