Giorgio Armani is celebrating a bustling season as he marks his 90th birthday.
He has reopened his renovated Emporio Armani store on Via Manzoni and will unveil a new building on Madison Avenue while showcasing his signature collection in New York on October 17.
The recent Emporio Armani show was a vibrant affair, featuring numerous designs and a star-studded guest list, including actors and Olympic gold medalists. The runway on Via Bergognone was redesigned to feature a spacious layout, highlighted by a striking backdrop of model Bekah Jenkins from 2000.
The collection showcased a variety of styles, including soft tailoring with luxurious suits in ice white silk and windowpane checks. Women’s looks emphasized comfort and color, featuring A-line dresses, pajama sets, and colorful gowns with sheer overlays. Evening attire included relaxed white shirts paired with sequin trousers, evoking a classic Hollywood feel.
While the show was extensive, it reflected Armani’s prolific creativity in this landmark year, leaving anticipation high for his upcoming presentation in New York.
