Lenny Kravitz Celebrates Fall Fashion at Saint Laurent Show

“Here we go again…” The singer marked the arrival of fall by referencing a famous paparazzi photo from 2012 that turned him into a meme, where he was seen wearing an exceptionally large wool wrap.

“Yeah, summer’s gone now,” Kravitz remarked on Tuesday evening at the Saint Laurent show in Paris, held in the chilly, rain-slicked courtyard of the brand’s headquarters.

“That scarf comes out once a year.”

Upcoming Residency in Las Vegas

Kravitz is set to return to warmer weather soon, with plans for a residency at Park MGM in Las Vegas starting in October. This follows his “Blue Electric Light” tour across Europe this summer.

“This residency for a couple of weeks will be our full show,”

he explained.

“It’s very straightforward but very soulful. I have amazing musicians on stage with me, and we’re going to play through 35 years of music.”

This will be his first residency in Sin City. “I think it’s easier in a way because you’re not traveling every day. You go to the same stage every night, so I think that’s going to be a nice part of that project. So I’m looking forward to it,” he added.

At the star-studded Saint Laurent event, Kravitz posed for photos with Gwyneth Paltrow, Justin Theroux, and François-Henri Pinault, the chairman and CEO of Kering, which owns Saint Laurent. Other notable attendees included Rami Malek, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Anthony Boyle, Maika Monroe, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Iris Law.

Rosé from Blackpink caught up with Nicole Richie while Amelia Gray flaunted a backless transparent mesh top. “Freezing,” she grinned. Zoë Kravitz, Lila Moss, Abbey Lee, and Anja Rubik also braved the cold in sheer outfits.

Laura Harrier opted for a ruched off-the-shoulder minidress but added an ankle-length black leather coat after her photo call. The American actress plays pioneering music executive Suzanne de Passe in the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic titled “Michael,” set for release next year.

“She’s just such an incredible woman,” Harrier said about preparing for her role. “I was so fortunate to spend time with her and ask her questions.” She praised de Passe for discovering major artists like Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and being instrumental in Diana Ross’s career.

When asked about her favorite Michael Jackson song, Harrier quickly replied, “Oh my god, ‘Beat It’ was like a favorite song of my childhood, so I think I have to go with that. It’s been with me throughout my life.”

Kid Cudi was also in town for a party celebrating the 15th anniversary of his first album at electronic music club Fvtvr. While his new track “Don’t Worry” pays homage to New York City, he expressed his love for Paris as well.

“The video for ‘Don’t Worry’ was perfect because I had a chance to be in the streets and see the fans,” Cudi said. “I want to shoot a movie in Paris and visit all the spots I used to go to when I first started coming out here—like the clubs and that scene—to show my love in that way.”

In addition, he plans to return to Paris Fashion Week next January to present his clothing brand, Members of the Rage.
