AG is taking a creative approach with its latest collection.
The Los Angeles-based denim brand will launch The Art Project on Thursday, aiming to transform apparel into wearable art.
Each piece in The Art Project collection, which includes both men’s and women’s wear, features abstract prints in bold colors and innovative combinations of forms. The collection is meticulously color-matched, ensuring pattern repetition throughout the designs.
“The denim landscape has been somewhat flat for years, so I set out to find fresh inspiration that would bring something unique to the table,” said Yul Ku, owner and CEO of AG.
“The Art Project was born from this desire to consistently offer bold, creative pieces that inspire personal expression through wearable art.”
The collection includes a variety of styles such as utility jackets, boot-cut denim, wide-leg fits, straight-leg options, trucker jackets, and other garments adorned with striking art-filled prints.
The fall collection features 26 styles for women and 12 for men, available in limited quantities. Prices range from $175 to $427.
The Art Project Collection will be available for purchase on AG’s website and in its 10 retail stores.
Founded in 2001 as a premium denim brand, AG has since focused on sustainable practices including ozone technology, laser finishing, solar energy usage, and water recycling. While denim remains at the core of its offerings, the brand has expanded into complementary tops, jackets, and outerwear.
