Armani Group and Patrimar collaborate on luxury real estate complex in Rio de Janeiro.
This marks Giorgio Armani’s first foray into the Brazilian real estate market.
“I’m very pleased with this new collaboration, which allows me to explore my idea of living in such a unique urban setting as Rio de Janeiro, where ocean, greenery, and mountains come together,”
said Armani.
“Patrimar has proven to be the ideal partner in bringing my lifestyle philosophy to life, creating a design that adapts to the spirit of the environment.”
The Armani/Casa interior design studio has previously completed residential projects in cities like Miami, London, Dubai, Beijing, Tel Aviv, Manila, Mumbai, and Istanbul.
“This partnership represents a milestone for our company and for the luxury real estate market in Brazil,”
stated Alex Veiga, CEO of the Patrimar Group.
“Together we will create a venture that will set a new standard in design and quality of life. It will be an unprecedented launch in Brazil.”
Armani is also heading to the United States to celebrate the opening of his company’s new building on Madison Avenue. The redesigned space will include residential units, an Armani/Ristorante, and new boutiques for Giorgio Armani and Armani/Casa.
Scheduled for October 17, the opening event will feature a fashion show at the Armory followed by a celebratory party.
Over more than two decades, Armani has built a successful interior design business. His first hotel opened in Dubai in 2010 within the Burj Khalifa, followed by another in Milan the next year. Both ventures were done in collaboration with Dubai-based developer Emaar Properties PJSC.
Additionally, an Armani Hotel is set to rise in Diriyah, a historic site located just 15 minutes from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, with completion expected in 2026.
