It’s hardly surprising that many of the A-list guests at the 2023 Met Gala opted to pay homage to Karl Lagerfeld‘s work with their own outfits given that the event celebrated the tremendous legacy of the late designer.
The best dressed of the lot were those who found distinctive ways to reflect a hallmark Lagerfeld look—whether it was Karl’s own personal style through elegant ties, clean shirts, and blazers, or the repeating use of pearls, bows, and tweeds in his collections.
