Chappell Roan’s stunning beauty looks turned heads at Paris Fashion Week.

Chappell Roan has been the one to watch this Paris Fashion Week, pulling off a jam-packed schedule for her debut season like it’s nothing.

Impossible to miss, she’s been front and center at a lineup of shows, decked out in her signature over-the-top glam, casually seated next to Michèle Lamy, PinkPantheress, Ice Spice, and Lucy Dacus.

If there’s one thing Roan is gonna do, it’s serve a look. Known for her bold beauty that blends camp, drag, and everything in between—think full-on Statue of Liberty drag or her ‘Roan of Arc’ moment—she did not disappoint at PFW. With make-up by Andrew Dahling and hair by Dom Forletta, her transformations have been just as anticipated as the runway shows themselves.

She kicked things off at Rabanne AW25 on Thursday, rocking bold cat eyes and dramatic make-up that had fans comparing her to drag star Gottmik. Later that day, she showed up at Rick Owens with foggy contact lenses, wild black dotted make-up, and her signature clown-ish white base. For Matières Fécales, she leaned into the underground vibe of the hosts with pink brows, freckles, and messy plaits, while at Yohji Yamamoto, she softened things up a bit with blushed cheeks over a porcelain-white base.

Saturday was just as chaotic (in the best way possible). At Ludovic de Saint Sernin, she nailed the “part-time freelancer, part-time ketamine kid” aesthetic with bleached brows and heavy contour. Then, at Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood, she went full New Romantic, rocking dark blue and black liner with a bold red lip for some punk drama. At McQueen, she rolled up with what appeared to be nude pantyhose on her head (because why not?), and at Valentino, she went full-on couture princess, floating in an extravagant ball gown from Alessandro Michele’s first collection for the house, topped off with her signature curls and a surreal, doll-like face beat.

What makes Roan’s PFW beauty moments so exciting? She just goes for it. No rules, no playing it safe—just full commitment to the aesthetic, even if it means completely flipping mainstream beauty standards upside down.

As her tour make-up artist, Ali Scharf, told Dazed, “She’s not afraid to be bold and maximalist. She loves to sometimes embody beauty in the traditional sense, but other times completely flip it around and be different, scary, or weird. It shows a sense of vulnerability—she doesn’t take herself too seriously while also taking herself seriously as an artist.”

And that? That’s the magic of Chappell Roan.
