James Barnor’s latest collection makes the April Issue of Vogue Italia.
Gracing the cover is a recreation of his 1967 Piccadilly Circus photo, starring British Fashion Model and founder of The Gurls Talk Podcast, Adwoa Aboah.
The Serpentine Gallery in London is dedicating a retrospective show to the 91-year-old photojournalist and lifestyle photographer this spring.
The show highlights his work from 1960s London to be featured on the Piccadilly Lights mega screen every day, throughout April, at 20:21 GMT as part of the @circa.art initiative.
Barnor’s career has spanned over 70 years, capturing Ghana’s independence, London’s burgeoning African diaspora, portrait photography and the music scene.
