La Medaille Grand Vermeil De La Ville Presented To Karl Lagerfeld

The highest honor of Paris, la medaille grand de la ville has been presented to Karl Lagerfeld, who conceived the idea of the Eiffel Tower constructed in the Grand Palais of the mayor. ‘you make Paris more magical, more beautiful, more creative, you are a true Parisian’ Hidalgo the mayor told Lagerfeld in French.

Wearing a black suit with a turtle-neck-like white shirt, Karl’s neck was draped in a black necktie done haphazardly, completed with black hand gloves and tainted black sunglasses as he displayed his award to the world.

This was well after the Chanel Haute Couture show underneath the miniature Eiffel tower in Paris, France.
