Lagos Fashion Week (LAFW) is set to commence today October 26 with an exclusive Lagos Fashion Week Launch party. It will continue on October 27 with a fashion-business discussion organized in collaboration with Crossboundary.
The fashion-business discussion will have diverse experts come together for an intimate discussion on financing the African fashion business reaffirming the LAFW’s continued commitment to delivering conversations that impact and drive forward the growth of the African fashion industry.
This will be followed by Swap Shop which is being organized in partnership with Global Fashion Exchange. Swap Shop steers the continued dedication of LAFW to achieve a more sustainable fashion industry in Nigeria and Africa through new conversations and the exchange of ideas. Swap Shop will run from October 27 – 29.
After months of intensive workshops on circular practices towards fashion design, Green Access finalists Adaora Soludo, Themba Paulos Shezi, Nneji Akunne, Lu Adesola, Kwaku Kyere, Akoth Otieno, Peter Acha, Essrhir Scheherazade, and Sipho Lushaba will take to the runway to showcase their collections.
Runway shows for the LAFW officially start from October 27 – 29 at 6 PM each day at the Federal Palace Hotel with offsite shows running from October 27 – 30.

LAFW refreshes its focus and continued resolve to demonstrate its commitment to funding, capacity building across retail and manufacturing, and navigating the circular economy and education. Collaboration, co-creation, and community remain the driving force of LAFW.
