Ghanaian fashion brand Metakay made its official debut at the just-ended Lagos Fashion Week. The brand debuted as part of this year’s Green Access finalists of the Lagos Fashion Week and showcased its “GARDEN OF EDEN” collection.
Founded by Kwaku Awiti Kyere, Metakay is exclusively known for its hand-smocked garments that draw inspiration from almost anything – food, animals, and objects, among other items. These inspirations, coupled with the right mix of delicate tailoring bring alive the sartorial masterpieces that the brand has become well known for.
