Mona Tougaard shines in Chanel’s latest holiday campaign

Chanel continues to make waves by featuring regional models in its global campaigns.

The Danish model, with a heritage that includes Turkish, Somali, and Ethiopian roots, wears the “Premiere Edition Original” watch crafted in yellow gold-plated steel with a black leather strap. Her look is further enhanced by jewelry from the “Camellia” collection, adorned with diamonds in yellow gold, along with accessories from the “Coco Crush” line, designed in beige and white gold with diamond accents.

Tougaard’s association with Chanel runs deep; earlier this year, she brought Chanel’s haute couture collection to life along the Seine River’s cobblestoned paths in Paris. Virginie Viard, Chanel’s creative director, described the collection as a portrait of a “sensitive yet bold Parisienne,” where Tougaard’s presence helped embody the delicate yet strong femininity conveyed through materials like tweeds and silk chiffons.

As Chanel continues to blend classic elegance with contemporary style, models like Tougaard play a pivotal role in showcasing the brand’s commitment to inclusivity and representation on the global fashion stage.
