Following the announcement last week that creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli is parting ways with Valentino after working for 25 years, Valentino has recently announced the cancellation of runway events for Menswear and Haute Couture in June.
Although it is yet to announce a new creative director, Valentino said in a statement “Creativity will continue to lead the way, through new collections for ready-to-wear and haute couture for women and men of the future, further elevating the brand’s DNA, symbols and threads of unparalleled Italian heritage into the future”.
