WHY YOU SHOULD NOT SKIP BREAKFAST

Breakfast is the first meal taken after rising from a night’s sleep, most often eaten in the early mornings. Most people believe that it is not necessary and begin their day with no meal.

Some people skip breakfast in an effort to lose weight, but that’s not a good idea.Skipping meals, especially breakfast can actually make weight control more difficult.

First and foremost, breakfast provides our body with the much- needed fuel and energy after an overnight of fasting. Our body is just like a car therefore need to be fueled for a successful drive.

Also, when you skip breakfast your body enters into a prolonged fasting state. It starts to believe that you won’t be eating any time soon. When you finally eat lunch, your body stores it as fat because it thinks, “I’d better save this for later. I don’t know when the next meal will come.” That, of course, leads to weight gain. It is therefore advisable to eat your breakfast within two hours of waking up

 

Breakfast has a significant effect on cognitive function during the day. If we fail to replenish our energy stores during the early morning hours, our ability to concentrate and perform mental tasks can adversely be affected. le-petit-bistrot

Studies have shown that children who eat breakfast perform at a higher level in school and are more physically active than those who skip breakfast because it tends to make them more active and attentive in class .You have to realize that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is better to wake up earlier and have a good breakfast that run to school or work without eating anything. It is time for you to do something for your health, and eating breakfast is the better way to start your day.
