African Fashion Foundation Announces New Scholarship Fund for Aspiring African Fashion Creatives

The African Fashion Foundation (AFF) announced a new scholarship fund to support aspiring fashion creatives from the Subsaharan region of Africa. This was made possible by joining hands with London’s highly prestigious college — Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design.

This new scholarship fund will provide life-changing educational opportunities for African students. Named after the founder of AFF, the Roberta Annan Scholarship will put successful candidates through the college’s Vogue Foundation Programme and then move on to a BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Industry Practice. Tuition and fees and living expenses will be taken care of by the scholarship.

Africa is overflowing with creative young people with drive and vision, and this scholarship will change not only their lives but the lives of the people in the communities where they will hopefully launch great businesses, armed with this training,” remarked Roberta Anna.

She continued that she’s “very proud and optimistic that this partnership will make a real difference”. The application rollouts and entry requirements are yet to be announced.
