Baby bumps at fashion runways?
Fashion weeks are a big deal in the fashion industry worldwide. That’s where fashion brands, big and small, unveil their new crazy and simple collections.
As if that isn’t enough, we see pretty crazy street-style photos. But hey, it’s all fashion. Not left out are pregnant models. These queens aren’t letting their baby bumps deter them from getting on the runway.
Here, we have a couple of baby bumps that stole the show at their various fashion week runway events.
1. Alessandra Ambrosio
During the Sao Paulo Fashion Week in 2012, Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio walked the Colcci show with her five-month baby bump.
2. Bianca Balti
Eight months pregnant, Italian model Bianca Balti walked in the Dolce & Gabbana’s autumn/winter show in 2015.
3. Lily Aldridge
American model Lily Aldridge also walked in a body-sculpting red dress at Brandon Maxwell’s spring/summer show in 2019. She was five months pregnant.
4. Maggie Maurer
In a see-through dress from Nensi Dojaka, German model Maggie Maurer walked the designer’s autumn/winter 2022 show during London Fashion Week. Maggie was only four months pregnant at the time.
5. Jourdan Dunn
In a Jean Paul Gaultier custom bump-plate for Jourdan Dunn, the British model walked the designer’s spring/summer show in 2010, while eight months pregnant.
6. Slick Woods
Walking for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show in 2018, Simone Thompson better known as Slick Woods really turned up the heat. She hit the runway in body-flossing lingerie. Simone gave birth soon after walking the runway.
