Chanel, for the first time, presented its 2022/23 Métiers d’Art collection in Africa. The show, which took place in Senegal’s capital, Dakar, was flooded with a number of black models.
African creatives and fashionistas didn’t miss this historical show, with the likes of Pharrell Williams and Tobe Nwigwe showing up.
The 2022/23 Métiers d’Art CHANEL – DAKAR collection is characterized by the 1970s fashion spirit. The silhouettes riff on a series of tight flared trousers, tunic tops, oversized knits, high-waist trousers, column knit dresses, and platform shoes. All those you can think of.
Let’s see all the black model looks for the show!
