KUMASI FASHION WEEK 2016
After 4 years of successfully producing and directing the KNUST Fashion Week on the KNUST Campus, Ayo A Ghana rebranded the franchise to KUMASI FASHION WEEK. In a heaven sent partnership with Icommerce Events and Golden Tulip Hotel Kumasi, the first ever edition of the Kumasi Fashion Week slated for the 4th to 6th of March, 2016 will take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Kumasi.
The Fashion week is themed COSMOPOLITAN MEETS CULTURE, and our hope is that the elements that will make up the fashion week will accentuate cultural elements and the role they play in contemporary fashion.
The Fashion Week will be an elaborate mix of Fashion Exhibitions and Runway Shows.
The Exhibition is open to all fashion related brand looking to sell their goods and services to the people of the metropolis and the runway shows will feature a rolodex of designers showcasing their luxuriant and fabulous designs on the runway. Participation on the fashion show is open to all designers in and out of Ghana with impressive collections to showcase.
Production Details include:
· a press launch in first weekend of February, 2016 at the Golden Tulip Hotel
· A pre-cocktail Fashion party on the 19th of February, 2016 at the Plush Lounge
· Fashion Exhibitions and Runway Shows from the 4th to the 6th of March, 2016 at the golden tulip hotel.
