Virgil Abloh, CEO of the Milan-based label Off-White and the Artistic Men’s wear director of Louis Vuitton is the designer of the moment. His fashion blends glamour and street style, casual and couture elements. His recent Fall-Winter pieces at the Paris Fashion Week were no exceptions.
Virgil’s sophomore Louis Vuitton show inspired by Michael Jackson took on a darker and perhaps a more serious tone as compared to his Off-White Fall/Winter 2019 show serving monochrome looks in hues of sand and beige, grey and black oversized blazers and trench coats with baggy trousers, Michael Jackson prints across sweatshirts and studded gloves.
His Off-White Collection titled “Public Television” on the other hand, presented colourful, eye-catching looks in bright yellow, neon orange and green, vivid colour palette of blues and purples. Virgil presented his audience with oversized jackets with the labels still sewn onto the sleeves, minimalistic jackets and streetwear graphic tees, baggy jeans, floor-length puffer coat, half-and-half blazers amongst other exciting pieces.
Below are some of the looks from his shows at the Paris Fashion Week 2019.
