The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markel, joined Prince Harry and other senior members of the royal family for the Queen’s state funeral today. She came wearing a black dress and a wide-brimmed hat.
The Queen was adorned with a pair of diamond and pearl earrings in tribute. The jewelry was given to her by the late monarch in 2018.
The Duchess of Sussex has worn these diamond and pearl earrings twice in the past week in honor of Queen Elizabeth II. Pearls are also commonly worn as mourning jewelry by royals. The studs were first seen on Meghan during her only solo engagement with the Queen in June 2018.
