BoyeDoe “Wabi Sabi” SS23 Lookbook

Ghanaian fashion house BoyeDoe christened its spring/summer 2023 collection “WABI SABI”. According to the creative director, David Boye-Doe, the collection (and its name) was inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi — the art of mending objects with gold fillings to give them “golden scars”.

The collection makes a provocative and eclectic message about appreciating and accepting everything as temporary, flawed, and unfinished.

Below are the looks from the collection.
