Ghanaian fashion designer, Kwame Koranteng, will be showcasing his designs at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023. The renowned multiple award-winning fashion designer will have his runway show on Saturday, September 17 at 6 PM.
Kwame Koranteng caters to both men and women. This isn’t his first time appearing at London Fashion Week. He had a show at London Fashion Week back in June this year.
Kwame began drawing daring patterns for both traditional and western apparel in Ghana when he was still in his teens. When he first visited Britain, he was inspired by the elegant streets of Saville Row, which were lined with illustrious tailors.
When he eventually immigrated to the UK to settle, he decided to pursue a career in fashion design and tailoring at a prestigious college on the outskirts of Bloomsbury.
London Fashion Week will run from September 16 – 20. Amidst the queen’s funeral arrangements, it will go ahead and observe Royal Protocol and the event will be dedicated to the late queen.
